An Update about our Emergency Appeal

At the start of April, we launched an emergency appeal due to funding shortages. The response from the community since that time has been amazing and so far we have raised an amazing £44,000. We want to thank everyone who has donated, shared, sent funding ideas, and messages of support. You are all amazing, and without your help, we may have needed to close our doors. 

Over 17,000 people are living with sight loss in North Staffordshire and for so many, SSLA is a lifeline.

We provide support, friendship, independence, advice, practical help, and hope to people who are blind and partially sighted, and to their families too. For many, it is the difference between feeling isolated and feeling connected, between struggling alone and having somewhere to turn.

Every donation, no matter how big or small will help protect essential services for people living with sight loss in North Staffordshire.
