To develop new effective alternatives to exclusion.
To increase availability of support to pupils experiencing difficulty and enhance relationships

The Inclusion Zone is within St Maurice's High School, Cumbernauld

When does this work happen?
Available when required during school hours

How does the scheme work? How is it maintained, sustained and evaluated?
A Teacher co-ordinates work in the unit. He receives support from school management. Use of the unit is logged, with purpose and statistics published

What are the benefits? What difference does this partnership make?
Pupils value the new opportunity for staff support and are showing improved learning and behaviour.
