Background I commend
our Teaching and Learning report format to you. It was developed and refined
by some STLS within Scottish Borders. Our target setting format was also
refined and developed by all Senior Teachers Learning Support based on
various examples within the Success for All framework. The target setting
format has become part of the established paperwork and can be found within
our Support for Learning Guidelines. The format of the teaching and learning
report has facilitated the exchanging of information and has enabled us
to be much more focussed on the individualised element of a particular
child's learning. At Edenside we have adopted these formats and it certainly
has improved our practice, improved home/school links and parental involvement
with the educational development of their child.
