Why was this partnership activity necessary - concerns, aims, difficulties etc?
A very complex child, a challenge to work out tactics for everyday inclusion in class. A very clever child who can pick on simple moves or words to wiggle out of a learning situation or everyday domestic life, upsets turn into major mountains draining even the most agile brain!

When does this work happen?
Everyday

How does the scheme work? How is it maintained, sustained and evaluated?
Parent is welcomed to help with child, this frees support and shows the child school is not a prison but a continuation. A parent/teacher/support partnership to bounce ideas not the usual blame and shame on both sides with targets to reach. Ideas are shared and all have an input to tackle a complex child.

What are the benefits? What difference does this partnership make?

  • The child benefits from calmness and builds self esteem and friendships
  • Teacher and support teacher can learn about the child's condition.
