Activity Time

Why was this partnership activity necessary - concerns, aims, difficulties etc?
Aim: To improve quality of teaching time of practical activities for all children.

Where does this partnership operate?
Primary One classroom - x2 - five activities.

When does this work happen?
Daily for 45 minutes with 5 staff members.

How does the scheme work? How is it maintained, sustained and evaluated?
Block is planned each six weeks by team. Children rotate round activities therefore complete all activities by the end of the week. Adult interacts with each activity. Weekly consultations to discuss/plan/review children/activities.

What are the benefits? What difference does this partnership make?
Small groups, therefore all children participate and contribute to activities. Team work and shared planning and structuring.
