Phonics is a very useful tool not only for the teaching of spelling but

As a school we feel that by
supporting the spelling of these children in an active way during Primaries
2, 4 and 5 and by resourcing the Class Teachers of Primaries 6 and 7,
a large number of children are benefiting from this partnership between
Learning Support Teacher, Class Teacher and Parents.
